The food here is incredibly delicious, and the thalis are a must-try. The chicken lollipop appetizers were among the best I’ve ever had. The staff is also very attentive and friendly.
I had a great time at this restaurant. Food was commendable and service was nice!
Ordered some food for takeout momo was alright not the best newyork has to offer but alright, thali really good, but the most disappointing dish was chatpatey for me. It had huge cubes of carrots tomato, scallion( who puts scallion on chatpatey). Pretty much the worst I’ve seen and tasted in newyork
A True Gem, Incredible Thalis & Outstanding Service. Himalayan Restaurant & Bar has quickly become one of my favorite spots. The food is absolutely phenomenal, especially the thalis. Every time I order one, I’m impressed by the variety, balance, and authenticity. The rice is perfectly cooked, the lentils and curries are rich and flavorful, the vegetables are fresh, and every small side adds something special to the plate. It’s a complete, satisfying meal that feels both comforting and thoughtfully prepared. What truly makes the experience even better is the service. Prekshya is an excellent server, genuinely kind, attentive, and always welcoming. She has such a warm personality and makes you feel valued from the moment you walk in. She’s a sweetheart and goes above and beyond to ensure everything is perfect. If you’re looking for authentic Himalayan flavors with beautiful presentation and heartfelt hospitality, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommended. I’ll definitely keep coming back!
Himalayan Restaurant & Bar in Jackson Heights never disappoints. Their naan, chicken curry, and thali set are some of the best you’ll find—fresh, flavorful, and authentically Nepali. Highly recommended for anyone craving real Himalayan taste!
Atmosphere was good, reception was kind and welcoming. I ordered khana set and steam momo to go. Momo was delicious, but khana set was disaster, I smell something not good in all good within that set, even momo achar was smelling bad, just momo was good, I guess that was the only thing I got fresh at that time. Thali set was worse.
Oh my God this what an unplanned great lunch spot in the heart of Queens! Went on a work outing and we happen to decide on this restaurant for a group lunch and we were not disappointed at all. We wound up having a little bit of everything as there was so much to choose from and all the dishes came out great and my group was highly satisfied with their choices for lunch. The servers were great as was the energy in the restaurant. The portions were also pretty good too as I left stuffed and with some goodies to go.
Food is very spicy but so tasty! We ordered a TON of food. Altogether it was about $155 with tip and tax. Totally worth it. It was so nice :) . Very friendly servers! Bathroom was clean too.
